My husband and I had the best wedding experience because of HG! We truly enjoyed every single moment of the wedding because we knew we could trust the team. In fact, we did not have to worry about anything from pre-event, during and even post-event. Our main planner, Maxine, is super detailed and meticulous when it comes to planning, execution, as well as liaising with our vendors & helpers. She is also super fast and efficient…. basically everything was made easy for the couple! The decor they proposed to us came out exactly like how it was in the illustration (actually maybe even nicer in real life)! Words cannot describe how satisfied we are with their top-notch service and quality of work. Engaging HG was really the best thing we invested for our wedding. My dream Disney princess/fairytale wedding fulfilled due to the help of my wedding planner, Vanessa. She had been extremely patient throughout the whole journey and it has been a joy planning this wedding with her. She takes care of all the activities in the schedule and drafted out the best schedule ever. Though her job scope did not include the morning activities, she took an extra effort to help us plan the morning schedule and briefed the bridesmaids and groomsmen on the schedule. For the evening schedule, the timings for each speech, kahoot games, montages were also perfect and the wedding Went through smoothly.

She was also a listening ear and a friend to me. I remembered telling her all the worries I had in planning this wedding and she gave me alternative feasible solutions which was extremely helpful and useful. The day before the wedding, she also gave me tips on how to remain chill and enjoy the process.

She also helped me to liasie with all the vendors regarding the small little nitty gritty details. Furthermore, she went the extra mile to help Joel and me compile our childhood montage, pre wedding photo montage and friends montage. After the first draft, I had requested her to change some of the photos and she willingly edited all the changes. There were no qualms nor hesitation in her. The videos turned out extremely well and I am very happy with the Disney medley incorporated in our childhood montage.

I will occasionally text her to discuss the wedding on weekends or even late weekday nights and Vanessa will always reply me promptly. I am extremely grateful for the prompt response received.

On the actual day of my wedding, she was the main coordinator running the show and the night passed by so quickly and smoothly for me due to her arduous effort. She was the “ go to person” whenever I need help, she was the time keeper, and most importantly, she was the silent hardworking, diligent person running around behind the scene.

Planning a wedding by myself is extremely difficult, I am so glad and happy that I have engaged Vanessa as my wedding planner. Especially during this covid season, Vanessa has guided us on the rules and regulations for wedding banquets. In short, I will definitely recommend her to my other future bride friends!

It’s Magical!
Hannah and Maxine are such a lovely pair to work with. Not only are they creative, they are genuine, patient and they have such big hearts!

Despite Covid dampening some of our spirits, we still wanted to hold some intimiate but fun parties at the comfort of our home. These two managed to bring my ideas to life!

With their generosity, each party had a little something for both children and adults. We received so many compliments from friends and family on the creativity of their styling and decor. From the door, to the stairs right to the dining table, every little detail was very evidently thought through thoroughly.

We are totally addicted!! So much so we got them to do three parties within a span of half a year!

Maxine, from Heaven’s Gift, was in charge of our ballroom decoration for our dinner banquet at St Regis and is truly a real life saver for us. In a short period of less than 2 weeks, she was able to conceptualise multiple decoration designs for our ballroom, advise us on the appropriate flowers and table arrangement, and also executed the final decorations for our ballroom to perfection. She’s a very cheerful and easy to talk to person and is extremely fast in her turnaround to our queries and requests. She took a lot of stress off our minds by coordinating closely with our hotel and also our flower vendor. On the actual day, we were really amazed when we saw the actual ballroom stage which Maxine designed as it immediately added a touch of elegance and romance to our venue. We will definitely recommend Maxine to all couples looking for a wedding planner.

When I first met Hannah, she seems to understand exactly what I wanted from concept to crafting a story that was in connection with the kind of interest we both have and the story we want to depict. It didn’t have to be long and draggy but more importantly meaningful to us, with the sequence of what we wanted. Short, sharp, sweet, precise and concise.

Simple as it seemed, this few hours of program had many hours of sweat, planning, thoughts that people failed to see. It was a joy to work with them and the process made me learnt much. I finally understood why from day one when I first met Hannah when she said why I needed a story, and a story was important. My story was always here but was never discovered. They made me discover slowly during the process and then everything just smoothly flowed in place.

The team and those that were involved knew how important this was to me.

Huijing was attentive towards my needs and she gave her best. She was aware of certain wish lists that I wanted and tried her best to fulfill them for me. Constantly reminding me if I was alright and gave me timing as to what I needed to prepare next. I certainly felt grateful for the small communication information such as to cover certain things, change of program/plan and to the things that went missing. She was indeed helpful maintaining my expectations and always proactively anticipating the next step.

Not to mention Lisa who managed to solve all the technical problems I had earlier on.

It was indeed a pleasure to work with Hannah and team. They had gone all out to give the extra mile and brought what seemed to be an memorable, everlasting, unforgettable overall experience to a whole new level. I would like to express and compliment how grateful I felt for them in fulfilling this dream of mine. These fond memories that has been created I believe will forever always stay close to our hearts.

Through our meetings with HG, I conveyed my ideas to them and they were able to fully understand what I was looking for. In fact, sometimes they could tell me what I wanted even before I could say more.

They came up with a concept that I loved and that clearly expressed the theme that I had in mind. HG helped me to accurately convey my concept to all the different vendors like the dessert table chef, the florist, etc.

Besides the concept, HG also made my life as a bride much easier by helping me to organize everything for the wedding. HG surpassed all my expectations, and never failed to surprise me with their dedication, initiative and experience. They were always one step ahead of me and often read my mind and got it covered before I could make a request.

They took care of the entire event and all I had to do was relax and watch my dream wedding unfold on the wedding day.

HG really took the time to understand us and what we wanted. They helped us to organize our thoughts and helped us to understand how we could achieve our dream wedding, with the budget we had.

They also gave us meaningful advice, which really helped us make wise decisions for our wedding.

Lastly, HG gave me the assurance we would get our dream wedding and anything that could go wrong would be taken care of. That really allowed me to fully relax and enjoy the wedding day.

Firstly, many thanks once again for helping myself and Amanda in all the planning, preparation and the execution of our wedding on 22 Feb 2014. I apologize for the delayed response as Amanda and I spent some time on our honeymoon and have finally settled down back at work.

On that note, I would like to add that I hereby approve of HW to release and use any of the materials/photographs in relation to this wedding for your advertising and promotion purposes. (In effect, this supercedes and will annul the data privacy clause that was listed in our contract)

As for the full day photography, this is currently being processed by my photographer, which I’m hoping I’m able to share with you soon. Should you require any materials from me, please do not hesitate to ask as well, I’m more than happy to help promote HW and the good work that you all have put in.

Please find our feedback on the planning and execution of the wedding as below:

Wedding Planning:

Overall, we were very satisfied with the planning services rendered by HW.

We were very impressed by the fact that Kim managed to finalize the necessary details, despite the limited inputs and often conflicting feedback from the couple. In that regard, I would like to apologize if there were any inconveniences caused by us and thank you once again for your patience and understanding throughout this entire journey.

Other areas which I noted was the attention to details which often would be left out by stressed-out couples, such as the suggestion on how/when to display the dessert buffet, the standing arrangements and walk-in, the timing of the speeches and pace of the program… I cannot even begin to imagine what it would have been like, had it not been the careful and meticulous thinking by Kim. Also grateful to the fact that Kim went the extra mile on several occasions in order to make the event possible. On the individual name cards from PapyPress, which I noted was not in the original cost/budget but was secured by Kim, for that we are very thankful.

Some room for improvement would be on the liaison between the venue event personnel and HW. I noted that on Alkaff Mansion’s side (LHN Group) there could have been quicker responses from the staff and HW. Perhaps this would be enhanced in future given that HW is one of the event partners for Alkaff Mansion.

Wedding Coordination on 22 Feb 2014:

On this, we would have to give maximum credit to HW for making the event a seamless and fuss-free for us.

While I noted some minor hiccups during the evening, most of it were unavoidable as there were some aspects that were new experiences. Examples would be the audio set up in Alkaff Mansion and how the mike and audio fed through the same system. The other point being the flow of the cocktails, which you have addressed in your earlier email. I hope that such points will be shared with LHN Group, so as to benefit future couples and events that are held at Alkaff Mansion.

What went particularly well was the sequence flow and timeliness of the event. Feedback from the helpers also validated the professionalism displayed by the HW team on site that evening, and the efforts put into the details of execution. Throughout the event, both the main helpers (ie Peter, Faye) and the groom were kept constantly updated on what is next and what needed to be done. In terms of the food and presentation, pls extend my thanks to Alkaff Mansion and the team for the efforts. Feedback from the guests was that the food quality was excellent, despite the fact that they needed to prepare more than 100 portions on the actual day. The pace of the dinner was good, with dishes being served relatively smoothly and while still warm.

Once again, many thanks to HW for all the efforts. We would certainly do our part to promote and recommend your services to our friends/colleagues/associates. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavours and hope that we will have an opportunity to work with one another (at someone else’s wedding party of course!)

The atmosphere at the dinner was purposefully understated yet dignified and joyous. Nothing ostentatious. The marquee earned its reputation in the midst of the lush greenery. The dinner hall was ambient cool throughout which was a pleasant surprise. The music was of years gone by was discreet. Flutes cuisine was savour extraordinaire. The service was impeccable. The wine flowed to the occasion. The guests enjoyed themselves. There was an overflowing of fellowship and friendship. The dance floor was invitingly adequate and came to life with the evening. The MC was great. The speeches were brief. The tribute demonstrated love. The celebration seemed endless.

It was like a symphony orchestra that came alive in the hands of an expert conductor. It was our blessings that we had you as the conductor. And for us, it was extremely stress free even when I forgot my hand bouquet :). The ballroom was so beautiful, it brought a tear to Ed’s father’s eyes. “I remember discussing the theme with Hannah at her office, looking at the painted eggs (hubby’s one broke! my fault), site visits…and the time we went to try out gowns! I was on my conference call while Hannah bought me lunch, I ate my lunch, drove to Tan Yoong and tried my gown while on the call all the time. On hindsight, I should have just hung up and try to enjoy my bridal fitting! Hannah was probably scared all the time I was driving and talking (eh, no hands free) but she didn’t show it! Haha!
It has been 2+ years since we got married at Changi Cottage. Amidst all the hustle bustle of my packed work life, I sometimes recall moments from that day. Eadwine patiently snapping away in the heat with his shirt stuck to him, the beautiful setup at the cottage, the flower pots hanging from the tree, the very good food, too much champagne too early (my fault), the sweet solemnization 🙂 i wanted to cry, the drunk first dance, my guest getting drunk under the tree and having his wallet taken by, um, his friends…

I guess what i wanted to say is a thank you. I didn’t have the time (what’s new) to write after the wedding (head was aching from the champagne), wanted to write after the honeymoon and was too busy working. Finally, maternity leave! i love our government 😉 One of these days, I should marry Chak again, or he should marry me, so says his friends. And you will be our wedding planner again?”
